• the first Canadian Mix of the world-wide 60x60 project:
60 one-minute compositions from 60 different Canadian composers

Concert 2: 9:00 pm. Concert de Bruits 60th Anniversary


• the 60th Anniversary of Pierre Schaeffer’s historic
Concert de Bruits, Paris, October 5, 1948
— the world’s first broadcast of electroacoustic music.

This programme will present the original études broadcast by Schaeffer in 1948,
as part of an international celebration initiated by Amici della Musica di Cagliari.

Saint Mary’s University Art Gallery.

The Gallery is located on the 1st floor of the Loyola Academic Complex on the Saint Mary’s University Campus, accessible from Gorsebrook Avenue or off Robie Street south of the McNally Building.
